Who am I?

Well, that’s a pretty good question. And to tell you the truth, I’m still trying to figure it out. But here’s what I do know: I’m a writer. A wife. A mother to two cats and one dog. In fact, I’m a bit ga ga over them—especially Kermit, my socially retarded mutt.

I work in advertising. I’m a copywriter. I often joke that I’ve sold my soul. But I’ll let you in on a little secret—I love what I do. Sure, I’d love to take my place among the ranks of Great American Novelists, but I’m too lazy to actually write one.

I like to think of myself as an optimist. But I struggle mightily with depression. I’ve been accused of having my head in the clouds.  And that’s just the way I like it.

So what are we doing here? What are you, the reader, supposed to get out of this blog?

I’m still trying to figure that out, too. When I do, I’m sure I’ll revise this to be all SEO-optimized. I’ll probably even try to get some link love. But for now, you’ll all have to bear with me as a find my way in the big, bad world of blogs, musing about life, love and the pursuit of advertising.

Let’s hope it’s a fun ride.
